  • How do I (or my students) apply for American Legion Auxiliary Tar Heel Girls State?
    1. Make contact with your local American Legion Auxiliary Unit or Post. A list of Units and Posts (by zip code) can be found ​here
    2. Some Units or Posts may not have phone contact information or websites. If this is the case, then email alathgschair@gmail.com and provide the following information: 
      • Your full name,
      • contact number,
      • physical address,
      • high school,
      • school counselor's name, 
      • school counselor's email address.
  • How long is ALA Tar Heel Girls State?
    • Registration is June 14th. ​
    • Closing Ceremony is June 20th at 10am.
      • Parents are invited to attend and citizens will check out of the dorms upon conclusion of the ceremony.
